When I was younger, the first gospel music that I actually enjoyed was made to sound like "secular" music.. These days they will blatantly sample secular music. That's how you draw more people in. I thought people like her understood that making the message more palatable was a win-win for everybody.

You can choose to listen to music that doesn't contain profanity or isn't sexual but it's really not that serious

I went to a non denominational church

Praise service was amazing
They took popular songs and turned them into church songs

The band was like an alternative rock group they were so cute, I had a lil crush on the lead 

And our youth pastor was so hot lol
