I think the sisters success will be more as actresses than singers. Chloe seems stubborn so she won't agree to a rebrand. She'll keep trying to cater to straight men who will never buy her music in droves.

Chloe x Halle ain't that good as a duo either. Pretty girls who can hold a note but other than that..

I think both CxH's albums are amazing. Almost no skips for me. The top 5 songs on both of those albums easily trump the top 5 on this In Piece of Trash project.

Mark my word: when Halle releases her solo album, you'll hear a major difference in the quality of the music.

Let's just cut to the chase: Chloe just aint good as a solo artist.

Chloe x Halle worked cause Halle tames Chloe. Chloe doing songs like Do It, Forgive Me or Ungodly Hour on her own, she woulda just made everything so damn extra like she does now. Lyrically, she woulda found some way to make it cringy as fck as well. When they come together, its about female empowerment and the impact and overall sound just hits; Halle tones her down and they have a more clear direction and sound. She leans on other's input including her sister's. She needs more 'no' people around her.

Chloe's aura is just naturally forced too. She overdoes it to where even though her songs caters to male attention, she still doesn't even attract their attention at all like that. I remember her saying she recorded over 100 songs and if thats the case, and then you were sent back to record more songs and what we got is what we got, then its a wrap. I just dont see her bouncing back from this and there are no potential hits to give the album legs. Best of luck to her acting career.

You speak as if she hasn't had the same amount of success solo as she has with CXH... lol solo Chloe & duo Chloe both have 1 platinum single and ungodly hour is their most successful album and it only sold 24k the first week. It's not that Chloe is doing horrible its that people talk about her as if she is a superstar when she has yet to reach the level so everything so does or accomplishes seems like nothing bc people have higher expectations

The label also funneled more money into Chloe than they ever did for the duo. She literally performed main stage on award shows, had 8 music videos, etc. CxH just performed on talk shows and had the VMA pre show basically

I could care less about album sales and commercial success. I'm speaking specifically about the quality of the music. Album sales are gonna be low regardless and I never said anything about that. I'm talking about making good music, period.
