I hate to see this but the girl did instigate and participate in the fight instead of going to sit down. The student should have waited to get the phone back later, gone to an administrator, called her parent in the office etc.

But when you're that young, your possessions are your life and your decision making isn't sound. That and self control has to be taught at home.

I HOPE THE TEACHER GETS OFF EASY. THESE KIDS ARE A DIFFERENT BREED TODAY AND SINCE THEIR PARENTS ARE NOT KNOCKING THEIR ASSES OUT SOMEBODY NEEDS TO. THIS LIL GIRL WAS OUT OF LINE AND DEFINITELY WAS READY TO SQUARE UP. I CAN ALSO TELL THAT THIS STUDENT AND TEACHER HAVE HAD PLENTY OF BACK N FORTH BEFORE. THE TEACHER COULD HAVE DONE A FEW THINGS DIFFERENTLY BUT I'M ME AND SHE IS HER SO YOU CAN'T REALLY TELL SOMEONE HOW TO HANDLE THEIR EXPERIENCE IN THE HEAT OF THE MOMENT LIKE THAT. I DEFINITELY WOULD HAVE PINNED HER LIL ASS DOWN THOUGH.
