It's a recipe for mess.

Maybe back in the day where a cell phone was just used for emergencies and if it's taken, the parent will be pissed if anything

but kids live on their phones now ... taking it is like taking their life . Literally

and IMO something that could be that sensitive to them for them to get angry or combative should be handled by security or even a school dean.

A child is going to throw a tantrum when something they love and value dearly is taken .

These teachers aren't being paid enough to teach and play security guard too

Although this was very satisfying to watch, the teacher was dead ass wrong. She was very aggressive from jump. The girl didn't even touch her at first, she was just reaching for the phone. I feel like the teacher pushed first.
