I would say they are about equal in the amount of chart success

I mean, I was going to disagree but Total actually does have more hits than 702

They do

Eh...

I was just listening to Total's 2nd album yesterday, while I do prefer their music over 702 neither group really has enough "hits" to do anything. But they both have songs we all love.
Eh... 🤷🏾‍♂️

rosone1

Slight edge to Total but they really excel when you throw in their features. LL Cool J's Loungin, several Biggie tracks and Foxy Brown's I Can't.

Justice Jackson

Yeah Loungin with LL is one of the best total songs anyway. It's an iconic summer song and they harmonized really well. I never thought total sounded good as a group but I liked their songs

702 had a more cohesive and blended sound and their lead singer gives them extra points, much like coko does with SWV. I prefer 702 but this ain't really a fight worth having
Ketanji Jackson has come this far by faith.

Ketanji Brown will still beatcho ass.

Y'all sleeping on 702
They each have about 7 solid singles to play including features. 702/Meelah on her own has features with Missy and Faith
