Lizzo could come back from this with the right PR overhaul. With her fanbase being full figured women it might be challenging to spin her being a fat shammer which has now alienated a large part of her demographic. 

She'll likely settle the suit quickly, hide from the limelight for the rest of the year after fulfilling any already booked work gigs then come back a year or 2 with a new image.

I can see her disappearing for a year and coming back skinny as a "new" person and saying her weight forced her to deflect a lot of pain she's had.

it sounds crazy for someone who pushes this whole "body positivity" thing to be fat shaming the gorls behind the scenes

but it's not really a huge shock because Lizzo isn't actually happy with her size IMO

she seems like one of those people who don't really like being very large but they don't wanna stop eating so much either. so this persona is developed , full of faux confidence , which allows them to indulge while beating people to the punch by saying "i know im big and im beautiful bitch ! hahahaha yup!"

then seconds later they're somewhere crying about someone making a fat joke - when they literally wrap their entire identity around their weight.

your weight isn't an identity. fat is a substance that can increase or decrease on your body - based on your diet and exercise at the time.
its one of those few things in life that we can actually control.

i really hope Lizzo finds true self confidence and love. she'll not only treat herself better but the people around her too.
