maybe it's not the person being a "fraud" or "undeserving" of an EGOT
but a need to adjust our perceived value of having an EGOT
we gotta remember that the only real criteria to be an EGOT is ....to have an EGOT.

regardless of how it's snatched. I'm sure there are plenty of people who feel artists don't deserve Grammys for their music, or Oscars for specific performances - especially in comparison to artists/actors whom they favor more.
maybe there's a feel that their work was too "lazy" or "uninspired" or even un-involved.
but ultimately that person has the trophy in their hand.
if anything, if we're questioning how a person earned the award(s), we have to question the value of these awards instead of pushing our tea onto the actor/artist in question.
if i see someone getting an award i feel they did nothing to get, i'm questioning whether the award is actually worth having (and especially if it's worth me holding in super high regard) - if it's that easy.
