calling him a "White sissy in a Black body" doesn't really hit hard when Funky literally calls himself a "rich White woman"

.....as a "joke" when he's clearly anti-black af.

this was a self-read if I've ever seen one.
and the fact that he put this out like this actually speaks more to his clear lack of self-awareness, which in itself is another read altogether

Billy is many things but anti-Black isn't one of them. Funky needs to work out his issues before he comes for god/dess unprovoked.

He hates Billy because he sees himself in Billy. Now check that.

The nerve. I've never seen Funky lawlessly execute any fashion. And he isn't very subdued with his flamboyancy either.

He could have came for Billy for many other things.  The way he basically told his transgender co-stars to sit down and shut up and be grateful they were even invited to the Emmy's/Golden Globes.

not familiar with the ins and outs of that situation but it sounds like more a "gay vs trans" thing going on

and honestly that show wasn't "about transwomen" ...it was "about" the ballroom scene.

 the community in general. Black/Latino gays and trans.

im actually a huge fan of POSE.

and Billy held that show tf together.

not taking anything away from anyone else because lord knows i love me some Blanca and was so happy she got her flowers, awards and accolades.

The transwomen on the show were the leads. It had subplots but it was mostly following the lives of transwomen in ballroom with a majority transwomen cast and 3 gay guys.

So if it was trans and gays. Not gays and trans. That kinda diminishes the intention and foundation of the show imo

But yes I'm a fan of the show too
