Not complaining.I am grateful to see her performing again but the prerecorded tracks make things too "predictable"-Idk how to explain it.We already know how it's going to sound.

in many cases it's quite the opposite. some of the songs and how they're made actually come off a lil awkward when performed live.

whereas artists like fas, Usher, etc. ...much of the music is def built with touring/concerts in mind
all the energy, belting, etc.

GHan tries to give a "performer!!" tea and she deserves credit for trying
but shes just not that girl for quite a few reasons and that's fine with me.

i dont go to GHan for amazing performances.  she gives things that other artists who excel at performing, cannot really give.

i wouldnt click "play" on a  performance from goddess and expect to be blown tf away.

yes she'll have those moments where the stars align and everything just seems perfect but generally speaking, i think we should know by now that GHan isn't a "performer!!!"

and as artists get further into their careers, and  more comfortable (not performing often at all, etc), that generally doesn't get better.

set expectations to something realistic

i think she is a performer but she isnt performing enough and i think she has lost her way a bit. if you look at her earlier performances 2000ish-to Two Eleven Era, sis was GIVING. hell, even some of the b7 performances sis was performing great.

i think any of brandys music can be performed live. she doesnt have to DANCE and MOVE to really do a tour or belt out as you say. beyonce did her acoustic show mess at the roseland ball room years back and it was simple and stripped down and amazing.

I saw Adele in Vegas this past year. She sits at a damn piano or mic stand and sings her slow ass songs and gives the gorls LIFE. bran can do the EXACT same, if she wanted too. she just needs to be on stage more and get used to it. doing a show every 4 years isnt tea.

Around the time of the canceled Kennedy Center show in D.C. is when she started getting really obsessed with backtracks. It's like she became overly dependent on them...

That's when I noticed her performances took a turn...

I don't think Brandy will ever sing flat out without a backtrack...Vocal Layering isn't the only thing we love about her and I wish she understood it's her tone more than anything.

oh yeah i was there for that show that never happened and youre prolly right. tbh if it takes her to do 70 percent lip and 30 percent live to get bran back on the stage to do a tour i would be here for it. hopefully this lil vegas mess is a start and the movies coming up soon, will give her some confidence to perform more

The crowd def would've been hyped to PID. That's her last urban radio bop

I'm sorry but Brandy is so corny to me atp. Why does she CLING onto moments and ride them WELL after the wheels have fallen off. Anything she gets positive attention from becomes her whole entire being. She performed that whitney tribute at the BET awards and it became a mainstay in her set list for YEARS :dead:

She did Broadway and roxie and we had to deal with her adding Broadway bullshit to her aesthetic for a long ass time. Now she performed the sitting on top of the world shit at the grammys and now she's in floor length trench coats and mess. She's so fckn infuriating
This is my pass to say WHATEVER tf I wanna say about the mess she releases so I don't wanna hear SHIT! Baby mama is a mess of a song btw
