I think ppl are mainly addressing her visual identity & presence on and off the stage. She needs a new team like Fantasia's that will take advantage of the opportunities lined up and understand let's tighten the full package to carry herself like the LEGEND she is.

Brandy has some major mainstream things lined up but she carries herself very low budget like someone else mentioned and that's a fault to the ppl around her and the type of quality/resources they offer her too. There needs to be a new creative director, stylist, publicist, marketing manager, etc that gives her the attention & quality she deserves.

And for on the stage... a new creative director needs to be in the picture to create a updated aesthetic and push her to be like "mama your alright just SING & own every moment of it". The energy, dancers, band, & glam of 2/11 era worked, now up that and mix a few more extra things she needs as well

Define classic R&B?

R&B that is just straight forward hard hitting songs about love, heartbreak, fucking, intimacy w/ no skips that the general public can vibe and sing along to...Brandy needs a grown classic that is undeniable...all ppl talk about is Full Moon or NSN and that was over 20 yrs ago. I'll take this or a summer feel type album with hard hitting knock, vocal layering and crazy runs but it needs to feel classic
