He seems to have an obsession with de-feminizing women.

I remember that post he made about women being too sexy.

Yes and he said in a video he is also allergic to women, dancers and artists, walking around/moving like 'gay men'..I guess he doesn't like over the top, extravagant? I don't get why he's so scared of people being fierce and sexy. I do get why Bey had to leave him behind.

It's giving misogyny and homophobia...

And I thought he was gay but self hate is real so.

The definition

Brandy is forever stuck in the 90s,she's never gotten over the fact that she'll never have the public love her like they did in the 90s,that has made her so image conscious and crippled her creativity

Luxury

My opinions are strictly on the professional side

I wish Brandy worked from a place of risk and ambition and not comfort

I hate that she won't part ways with Frank Gatson

I hate that she didn't own the content and subject matter on B7. I know this upsets some of you and claim that people are "diagnosing" her, but I know Brandy has/is struggled/struggling with some mental health issues and I hate that when an interviewer asked her flat out she opted to be untruthful and say that they were all just metaphors. If she wasn't ready she should've just went in a different direction all together. B7 could've have been a watershed moment for her.

Also, I hate that she won't part ways with Frank Gatson. I mean why does he have her up there doing 8-counts to ANYTHING on B7?!?! But there we were witnessing 8-counts and lipping to 'Say Something" I just can't...

Only thing I'd say I didn't like or care for were those rants she went on "I'm your favorite singer's singer" etc. All of those recorded rants were a bit cringy and embarrassing. Also, her going back and forth with that so called "fan/friend" didn't portray her in the best light.

I didn't really like when she was in that PR relationship with SirTheCloutChaser either.

Harlem

Oh! I HATE the fact she made her Talk About Our Love portion of the Lady Of Soul Awards moment about Monica

And I hated the overall creative direction and look for that acknowledgment moment. I wish it came during the Two Eleven era

!!!! this

i know some of yall hated Cowboy Carter but Beyonce takes risks with almost anything she does. CC was a huge risk for bey but she did it and got a number 1 single and album out of it. The way she released Self Titled was a huge risk and could have flopped with no promo but it paid off. i want brandy to start taking more risks as well.

I am hoping with these movies coming out and they do well, it will give her an extra boost of confidence she needs.

I know alot of yall hated the clap back era but at this point...

I agree with all of this.

Especially the part of Frank Gatson.

The fact that Borderline never got it's true moment to shine even though it was a decent single choice

But why would she add choreography to such a power ballad for the live performances? It took away from the impact of the song. And then her lip synching as well.

I think this is also another example of where Brandy waters down her own work just to stay in a comfortable pocket.

Because it's hard to sing and dance, adding choreography to Borderline gives her the perfect example to lip it.

Project started: 2014 Wrapped up: 2024

Significant Discovery: First known Black American family of Kalmyk descent

Takeaways: Be prepared to pivot, even when you think you're on the right track. Be OK with being wrong so you can get things right.

Kalmyks are tribal Mongolic people who settled in Russia. It's estimated that only 300,000 Kalmyk descendants exist worldwide - with only 3,000 in America.

And here's a really controversial opinion. Maybe..

Brandy over does the vocal stacks and layering. It's TOO MUCH Now to where she's hiding her voice behind the production.

It's like she's afraid of her own voice. Which is crazy to me because you are a skilled singer with a 30+ year resume.
