And I guess the audible thing became New Moon after it didn't happen because she initially said to expect new visuals and new performances to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Full Moon and we got nothing

Unless the promo clip was the new visual she was referring to

I don't think Brandy has a fake public persona

I think her hyper vigilance is a part of who she is.

I also think she's melancholic, goofy, aloof and those things aren't generally seen as culturally  acceptable.

eh, i dunno. referring more to the polished america's sweetheart type vibe. it may have felt authentic back when she was younger but those days have passed. and i think someone in here mentioned that's sonja's fault (the persona). oddly enough, i think those things you mentioned make her more relatable.

NSN was really the time to celebrate a 20th or 25th anniversary and we got nothing. Afro turns 20 in a few and we won't get anything for that
