very few mothers will abandon their kids, even when they've done the unthinkable

especially if their child is claiming to be innocent, and making it seem like the world is just randomly targeting them

in order for us to say "i cant believe shes supporting him even tho she knows he did XYZ    ".

she's already said that he didn't and that her son isn't the "monster" people are saying he is.

 she's possibly in denial, and it is not surprising for a mother to be in that state

and to be completely fair, technically he hasn't been found guilty yet (even tho im pretty confident he will be found guilty)

i can understand her holding out on hope that this will blow over. and that her son is innocent

As horrible as Diddy is. It has to be hard to stop loving your own child.
Also criminals don't act like criminals 24/7. It's possible that he acted like a completely different person in front of his mother than he did with his victims. I will say though that I hope after this court date she can recognize that he's being held accountable for his actions.

now imagine that you did not believe your brother actually did what he was accused of

he tells u he's innocent, and u believe him.
he has not been found guilty of anything yet, or even put thru a trial yet

and how you would handle that.

thats a super important piece of this.

the family member has to BELIEVE their loved one did what they were accused of

in order to KNOW they are supporting a mass rapist, murderer, etc.

perception is reality.
we're speaking from our perception of this situation but it's clear what Janice's perception is.
