Talking to Me is one of my favorite songs by her, love that she started with that. Those first few notes were a bit off but as I kept listening my ears adjusted.

Loved the transition into Why Don't We Fall In Love

The background singers could have really complimented her vocals but unfortunately they don't have the proper blend.

Coming back to say Rolling Down My Face was my favorite performance and one of my absolute faves by her. This was so interesting to watch & listen to bc I don't wanna say she can't sing but her voice is different and lacks control.

The best part of this was the new song. Troy Taylor knew how to find the sweet spot in her voice. She has a pretty falsetto. Outside of that she was back to her screechy, pitchy vocals with loud production almost drowning her out.

Yeah. Amerie has never been a great singer. With that said, she did okay for someone with limited vocal ability for this type of setting

I love Amerie and this was cool but some of the music didn't translate like I wanted it to. Idk if it's because her music is so percussive and bass heavy and u can't necessarily recreate that all the time. And when u sing these hard ass songs u need to be ready to knock out these notes and she ducked and dodge too many. She still sounded ok and it was decent tho
