GODly needs to realize and remember that she's able to have this "CAREER!" she speaks of because of Black women supporting her, and her telling the stories of Black women and being RELATABLE to a lot of everyday Black women

I dunno what kwee is going through but she needs to step back for a bit and breathe.

a lot of people do this whole "Why Black people ALWAYS gotta be da ones to (insert negative behavior here) ??? " thing

(which is pretty much what GODly is doing)

but they fail to realize that you only see Black people doing this because you're mostly only in Black spaces.
you're in a Black bubble, so to speak. so everything you see - both negative and positive, will be from Black people.

it sounds simple enough but many people miss this nugget of logic.

cuz trust if someone puts you in a White/non-Black space for a majority of your time everyone's not gonna be throwing rose petals at your feet.

it'll be the same mess, and worse. biggest difference being: you won't make a dime in the process cuz they ain't tryna see you get up on stage and sing "U Shoulda Told Me" once they're done dragging you.
