i looked deeper cuz to me going for a cancelation for saying Charlie was something he was proud of didn't make much sense to me.

but i think sometimes we forget these people are kinda "on the job" on these platforms

if u go to work tomorrow, log into ur laptop and hop on a Zoom saying some super messy/controversial stuff

will u get arrested for saying it? probably not (unless you're making threats).
 is what ur saying right/wrong? that depends on who you ask.
but would ur job be at risk? absolutely yes.

the same rules kinda applies on these platforms, just on a much larger scale.

the companies will reasonably expect their employees to act within their best interest and present themselves in alignment with whatever their core values are.

saying whatever tf u want to, wherever you wanna say it, with no consequence has never really been a thing in America.

that being said, there's obviously tension Trump is pressing here and there and weight he's throwing around. but he kinda knows who to go for.

I would say "freedom of speech" was in jeopardy here if he were arrested for his comments. Losing his freedom would def be a North Korea tea.
