i noticed that she never claimed genocide. yes, christian churches have been targeted, as well as mosques. more mosques according to the source i cited earlier. i think you're misunderstanding the issue. nigerians being attacked and killed by boko haram is absolutely happening, that's not up for debate. however, they are not targeting anyone based on religion, they are targeting everyone. churches and mosques alike, as well as schools, neighborhoods, etc. the genocide narrative is being used as a ploy to go in and distirb the economic growth of the country (because their growth and independence is not in this country's best economical interest) which will be harmful to the nigerian people.
the point: while nicki is "bringing attention" to what's happening in nigeria, she is also aiding this administration is pushing a false narrative that will allow them to infiltrate and ultimately destroy nigerias economic progress which will be harmful to the nigerian people. we have to think critically about this.
