The last few chapters of the book are absolutely stunning. I love how she described her spiritual journey.

And I see how the industry really fucked her over. Kanye has always been a terrible person.

I think Brandy did the best she could during the Full Moon / Afro and Human eras.

Why does Brandy think so little of herself, whenever she gets any success or acknowledgement, she always says things like 'I can't believe it'......it's annoying

Cause she has a low sense of worth which ironic cause people swear she's uppity 

Yeah which is why you got someone like Ryan being able to hover around her despite her own words of him being abusive, stealing, and fcking her own friend.
I have been a fan for a long time and know that even when she tries to give confident she isn't really confident.
She also is a big time people pleaser who is still reeling over her fall from grace with the public since she took Sonja's dumb ass advice. You can't ever take what Brandy says seriously off of that alone.

I actually remember them JOKING about that on the TAOL set. I had no idea she was actually mad fr about that.  I knew they had some kinda tension tho. I think it was a while back that Kanye said Bring me down was one of his worst songs or sumn like that. I dont think either of them really had a desire to work with the other. It was pushed by the record label
