Brandy's 1st singles (except Baby Mama) were never really the issue, it's them follow ups. While we playing A&R lol, from her adult eras I would've picked:

Full Moon - WAU, FM, WYTM, Nothing, It's Not Worth It or LWCMO

Afrodisiac - TAOL, I Tried, Focus or WYWB, Should I Go, with Say You Will & Come As U Are as urban promo radio singles

Human - RHD, The Definition, Camouflage, Acapella or Shattered

2/11 - PID, DYK, Slower, Without You, CYHMN, WD or WYLA

b7 - Love Again, Rather Be, Borderline, Lucid Dreams

Hell, "Where You Wanna Be" would've performed better tbh.

Hmm...actually Warm It Up would have probably been a strong second single for pop radio and adult contemporary. Especially in Winter.

Piano Man was such a missed opportunity with Human, should've been the second single

I feel the issue was less about the singles and more about her image. Especially during Afro era. She was too thin, while trying to give sex symbol. I don't think black women & men outside of Cali really connect with that look.

Warm it up, should've been the 1st single from Human because it was during Obama election season. It was perfect for the moment.

Baby Mama & PID were also poor single choices.

Do You Know should have been the second single.

i didnt get into Shattered until prolly the 2020's but that was a SMASH! that dark beat. ughh she had so many potential hits

I recall they trialed I tried on urban radio and it didn't do well. WS2U made more sense

Something about the production on Who Is She feels depressing even the video.
As hot as T.I was during this time, they were crazy to not release Where You Wanna Be second.
