THIS!!! She said her voice was changing after that Xmas album release in the silent interview . It has become really soft and airy so idk if belts is her strong suit anymore. She still may be adjusting and finding her way. Tbh some just might have to deal with not liking this eras vocals and possibly the next album if she doesn't have a breakthrough anytime soon. I used to think she was a lazy singer during NSN/Moesha era and then things changed. I appreciate the subtleness looking back tho

unfortunately she's also accountable to the people who are just fans and arent looking for "genius artistry" from everything.   Brandy is making choices that are turning not only the avg listener off but also her fans.
