i'll say this. tyra is an agent of the devil, yes. but when it comes to antm, some stuff may have been problematic, but it genuinely was preparing then for the real fashion industry which is... problematic. so she kinda delivered on her promise.

but at the same time, she also projected an image of her being a "mama bear", "big sis", "auntie" tea.
having "heart to heart" convos isn't exactly staying consistent with a "prepare yo ass for the real modeling world" mess owt.

so any girl who came there expecting that didn't have unreasonable expectations. and if they were disappointed in instances where she appeared to be giving them the complete opposite feeling of "mama bear big sis auntie", that wouldn't be unreasonable either.

I agree. Tyra definitely did some fucked up mess she needs to take accountability for. However, it's not like the girls weren't made aware of the stakes. They also had the option to quit when they saw what was what.

precisely. i think a lot of ppl are holding tyra accountable for things she had no control over. for instance, the comepletely useless girl in the documentary saying trya was holding the girls to the same standards that stifled her, but AGAIN failing to acknowledge that tyra was preparing these girls for the REALITY of the fashion industry. she could have fed them this "every body type is celebrated! all sized welcomed!" bs, and the moment they entered the real fashion indusry they wouldve been eaten alive. so she's kinda damn if she does, damned if she doesn't... in that particular aspect of the show.

again, she is NOT without fault overall.
