Dani's overall assessment of Tyra was fair IMO

she said Tyra started with good intentions and got "lost" and i completely agree

Tyra def started off wanting to be against the grain and different in the best way possible
going against the machine and showing gorls a new definition of beauty

but slowly figured out as things got bigger and more hands got into the pot....that in order to play and win, u kinda gotta become the machine and incorporate elements of that machine into ur tea.

and she also figured out people will get bored with ur show...quickly. so she was forced to find ways to spice things up and get/keep everyone's attention.  it's so easy to get "lost" along the way and make mistakes when you're tryna find the "balance" that Sherri is referencing, and you're trying to be creative and edgy enough to keep viewers engaged.

his show started off with politics/serious topics and he literally just wanted it to be a regular run-of-the-mill talk show with intellect and class and blah blah blah 🥱

until the gorls (as in: the iconic genius producer Richard Dominick) tapped him on the shoulder and told him that shit is boring

Jerry was initially reluctant but after they dropped his show all the way to a 2AM slot, he realized it was switching the mess up or getting cancelled completely
