I don't love the song (at least for now) but I do like it. I feel the same way about the majority of Kehlani songs so it fits right in, especially for a self-titled album. Great production but Ghan delivered, which was most important in my book.

I absolutely love that its not background harmony heavy! And the lead vocals are HEARD and shining  I just new this was going to be a harmony overload but they shocked my ass.

I wasn't wowed was hoping for some belts at the end, BUT she sounded good still. She is very laidback on features, and it's been that way for years, either she's doing bgvs and adlibs or a very subdued vocal. Very few are there times she really goes there and I agree her voice has changed which we seem to be due for every few years, her voice literally sounds different on each album. I'm hopeful she may link up with Jimmy & Terry and create their own world and sound and do what works for her now without any boundaries or limitations. The general public loves it though!

The song is nice.  I'll start there. Idk what it is now but Brandy has this WARBLED sound to her vocals now and ION LIKE IT! Its like she's incapable of recording a CLEAR, STRONG vocal.  Idk if it's the mixing and mastering or WHAT but smh

It's the mixing and effects on her voice. Her tone on Ty Dollas Intention is fantastic !

They are! But why has Brandy's vocals been muffled in the first place? Brandy is a professional singer and has decades of clear vocals . It's odd that she would even allow a vocal to be released that wasn't clear and top tier . Makes me thinks it's intentional and something she likes .

so if (and i stress if) that's what has happened it shouldn't be held against her
if anything she'd need more love and hugs and support. we're still here throughout anything that is beyond her control.

im happy she's back out doing what she loves and having fun. i hear and see effort from kwee.
and someone who is clearly inspired and rejuvenated.
