I like it. I've listened to it three times this morning and I liked it more and more each time. She sounds great. Over time she seems to be leaning more into the airy, breathy side of her tone.

The song is nice.  I'll start there. Idk what it is now but Brandy has this WARBLED sound to her vocals now and ION LIKE IT! Its like she's incapable of recording a CLEAR, STRONG vocal.  Idk if it's the mixing and mastering or WHAT but smh

It's the best collab we've gotten from her in a long time but I'm not overly impressed. The way they have her voice sitting is not great and Bran doesn't go in like I know she can.

I'm not a fan on this tone she's been singing in recently. It's the same tone she did on He Is during the Boy is Mine tour...and during the NBA all star game.

Is Brandy voice okay?? I'm beginning to be worried..mind you she lip synced the whole tour and this was the best vocal she could give to Kehlani

Maybe my expectations were too high b/c of the way it was being hyped on social media...ppl tlkn about levitating but im still on the ground. I listened to it in the car and Brandy sounds crazy on this..I don't like the vocal but the ppl keep enabling it

This is where I think some fans go a bit too far. It's one thing to not like something she's doing, but saying she needs to change it just because you don't like it is doing a lot.

Brandy has always been a stylistic vocalist and a lot of what people are commenting on is intentional, whether it's the tone, layering, or production. It may not be everyone's preference, but that doesn't mean something is "wrong."

Also, this is Kehlani's project. The song and vocals went through multiple levels of approval, so clearly it fits the direction they were going for. It's okay if it's not for you, but that doesn't mean it needs to be "fixed" or that's not able to do something different.

Just listened, def a nice song... but agreed I'm having trouble understanding or hearing her vocal clearly, similar to certain songs on b7 and CWB. I think it might have something to do with her vocal engineer which is Todd Bergman

I think the song is good and I'll definitely replay . Definitely the best feature I've heard from her in some years . However , as mentioned above, Brandy's voice has absolutely changed and I don't think she can quite sing how she used to. This is not being a hater or being overly critical but just technically if you really pay attention, the vocals haven't been all the way on point in quite some time . She lipped the entire tour and did not sing one note live ,The star spangled was lipped and heavy effects on her voice etc

Some points in this song Brandy would've went absolutely nuts and killed it , doesn't matter if it's a feature ( listen to Quickly , bring me down, etc ) Brandy always shows up and shows the fuck out so this let me take a back seat approach and not do too much is not what Brandy is known for . Everybody wants VOCALS from the vocal Bible.
