Stewie have you watched the Planet Earth series on Netflix? It's interesting watching nature
on the arctic episode, there was this big ass seal, and this pack of orca was chasing it down, pushing it off icebergs, basically getting it tired so they could drown it. it came down to the end, and finally the seal gave up, and they dragged it under for a feast.
I thought.... I hate fckn killer whales
then they showed a pack of wolves chasing bison. but the bison rallied back and stomped a wolf the fuck owt and the rest of the wolves retreated. Then they showed the wolves going back to their den and all the baby wolves were crying and hungry and would probably die without that food for the winter.
I thought... fuck those bison, those babies need to eat
my point is ... I understand gruesome nature the food industry has become and the mistreatment of animals. but remember we didn't always have machines, the natives used to eat and use every part of a kill, they hated to do it actually, but they had to. So to say that we shouldn't eat animals period is kinda... I think you just saw something that tugged at your heartstrings really hard babe
i get this all the time...animals eat other animals so its fine...why are WE (humans) eating animals when we dont have to?...ALL the nutrition we need is from plants....and we're essentially
filtering our nutrition through other animals......why are we feeding the grain, corn, and soy to animals....when that can be fed directly to starving humans in third world countries?...why haven't we made the connection? because we have been completely lied to and manipulated by the food and health industry that thats what we should be eating when meat and animal consumption has been directly scientifically linked to 14 out of the 15 leading causes of sickness and death in the U.S...
now compare the wolves chasing the bison to the animal agriculture industry:
the dairy(milk/cheese) industry:
you take a cow....you rape it constantly (artificially inseminate it) so that it can get pregnant and start lactating...once the cow gives birth you kill the baby calf otherwise the calf will drink the milk which is going to be sold to humans)....you keep raping the cow until it can no longer get pregnant.....the whole time you're pumping it with hormones (both to facilitate more milk production and to fatten them so that they get as much meat as possible)then you butcher it...this is a LIFETIME of the most inhumane torture you could possibly imagine....can you imagine a woman going through something liek that? being fattened with chemicals, raped constantly, milked,...
pigs:
they cut their tails and testicles off (while they are alive)...this is because the pigs have been shown to literally go mentally insane because of the environment...they're in very confined areas...rolling around and lying in their own shit and piss.......they get so bored they start shewing on each others tails end testicles (cannibalism)....this can also happen when they get too hungry.....they constantly have infections and sores on their bodies...and this is what we're putting into our mouths.....these are not isolated incidents...this is where 98% of your meat is coming from
chickens is 10 times worse than pigs but i wont write an essay.
i want so badly for you guys to sit through these documentaries to understand the difference between animal agriculture and a lion chasing a zebra for food..i;ll keep posting links...maybe one day your curiosity will be sparked enough to sit through all of these documentaries..you've seen snippets of stuff from videos i've posted...but its a whole other thing to get the complete picture and story..i.e. the impact of animal agriculture on animals, your health, the environment ...
