did Bernie really say this?
if so, wow...

QuoteDemocratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders is trying to clarify a statement he made about whether white Americans can empathize with blacks.

During Sunday night?s Democratic debate, Sanders said that "when you are white, you don't know what its like to be living in a ghetto, you don't know what it's like to be poor."

The Vermont senator tried to explain on Monday.
"What I meant to say," Sanders said, according to an NBC News reporter, "is when you talk about ghettos, traditionally what you're talking about is African-American communities.

i cant stand Hilary :uhh: im disgusted

The percentage of Black votes for Bernie are low. This makes me sad.

Hillary truly has the black vote. It's all due to familiarity.

it's annoying how he keeps crying "wall street paid you 250k to do a speech"

ummmm yeah... she IS Hillary Clinton. She's the wife of the most popular president since Regan.
there is some celebrity with comes with the name. No one is gonna pay bern that amount because   none really cares hun  :uhh:

Not necessarily. I'm black. I'd NEVER vote for bernie. He's not relatable to me.
I think there are many reason as to why he can't get the black vote.

Just like with Hillary, there are meany reasons she can't get the young vote.

Donald won't beat Hillary if she's nominated, however, I worry about Bernie if he's the one nominated.

It's obvious Bernie is the most consistent out of all the candidates and has been since he was a student in college. Not sure if minority voter will make effort to get familiar. It's necessary though.

Not relatable? You're joking. His heart is in this campaign and he has the mentality of a revolutionary.

If anything Hillary seems the most disconnected (though that's not true hearing Larry King discuss how she has a great sense of humor). Her demeanor oozes "politician" & comes off as a strategist as opposed to someone as passionate & progressive as Bernie.

Bernie WON'T be nominated. lol its just not happening.
with his socialist views, america would never vote him into office.
The democrat party knows that.

The reason they are going to continue on with the race is simple, the republican's race is EXCITING because you have this polarizing public figure that's a clown named Donald Trump winning everything. The democrats are trying to amp up the excitement on their side. But it's just a 2 man race.

come june, the party will rally around Hillary, maybe bernie can get enough steam behind him to where she will make him her running mate. but he'd never be at the top of the ticket.

he's just not electable

Sovereign.

At this point, I agree. Hillary has the bigger machine behind her & having a socialist as head of the nation is unfortunately a stretch, but we'll get there.

True, she is a career politician. she's been in politics her entire life. her resume is iron clad. She was clearly calling the shots when she was first lady.

She's just not likable. she doesn't have the personality or charisma  that people are seeking.
Bill Clinton and Obama are likable guys. you wanna kick it with them. Hillary just don't have it.

BUT she'd be damn good at her job.
