And even with Republican obstruction at every turn, he was able to pass universal healthcare (others haven been trying for 30 years or more), marriage equality, etc. how could he ruin the presidency when the guy before him left the country and its image in shambles.

What we are witnessing is America's racism rearing its ugly head with the current election. Don't believe the lies, it IS because he's black.
