Y'all are talking about the treatment of blacks in hollywood and the industry based on who  is and isn't marketable or will appeal to certain demographics. Yes lighter skin blacks are marketable and blacks in general are stereotyped and thrown into the same old roles. That's not what we were talking about though.

We're kinda discussing what the AVERAGE white person sees when they see a nigger, and it isn't some buttercream caramel almond white chocolate cocoa butter mess.

Two different topics  :ermm:

Even if that were the case, which it is not, because we are not talking about just that. Who are these films made for in the end? The average (white) person. So THEY obviously feel more comfortable with someone less black/dark. You basically proved our point.

Jordin is someone who would be considered "high yellow," IMO.
Bey is light skin with red undertones. She's wearing darker makeup in that other pic, plus the lighting doesn't help.

The average (white) person

Um no

And lighter skin is more marketable for any race of people in the industry. This isn't some blacks/whites only thing.

You're just talking just to be talking at this point.

He definitely is brown

I can't believe y'all argued over that when a simple Google mess could've cleared it up.

We posted a pic of the boy standing next to brown ass queen latifah and young said she's light too. Apparently there are only two types.

The way they consider the smallest drop of brown in skin color as "dark" and a bad thing is sad.
