It was so easy for artists to get a hit if they were signed.

it was far from easy IMO

People still flopped if the public didn't use   but it does suck that they only have the Internet

but labels in general just put more effort and money into new artists then than they do today. They literally just throw these girls out there and just see what the fuck happens. They don't even have a fair shot anymore...

Well maybe she just needs to go independent then because when you're booking a 16k mess, you can't really call the SHOTS. Her "fanbase" ain't purchasing either way. But you see that the general public clearly uses your crossover mess like 2 On and All Hands, so why come back with the exact OPPOSITE? Your CAREER is on the line..... Although RCA is TRASH, Tinashe is also to blame. Her label set her up on a pretty decent platform. Tour with Nicki, Katy Perry, collabs with Drake, Calvin Harris, ect. She's too busy trying to work against them, but not doing anything but hurting herself. Her team was trying to transition her over to pop, but sis still wanna record in her basement and pick tracks out the damns dumpster that ain't gon SELL.
