Do y'all really think Monica is THAT irrelevant?

Yes
Even ciara manages atleast 1 hit from her albums. Fck a hit even,  can u name a monica song from her last two albums? U have girls like Kelly rowland and ciara, who may not sell lots of albums but they still feel like celebrities. People are still talking about them,  they are still doing things, etc. Monica is NOT talked about and that's where the irrelevance comes in. Im not just hating on this girl,  this is what it is. Monica is no different than all those R&B divas. If young didn't keep us updated, like the rest of the world, we wouldn't fckn KNOW

Monica is really the odd one out in the group of four. She has had hits in the past, yes, but she does not get the same amount of reverence as the rest of the ladies. She needs a current hit for people to care. There are artists that don't need to be commercially relevant (Lauryn, Erykah, etc) but will always be respected.

I agree that Monica is definitely odd one out because she's an irrelevant artist. Her whole career she didn't mind not being the big star or talked about heavily, there was only the music.  NOW she has no real presence in music anymore and since that was all she really had i don't understand how her being irrelevant is even up for debate. she isn't looked to as a strong performer or really amazing singer like these women so that brings me back to my original point. She cant tour with these ladies. and monica aint in the vein of lauryn, sorry

And this tour is definitely plausible btw. Missy, Beyonce, Alicia, and Tamia did it with the ladies first tour.

I went to that concert and Tamia was out for maybe 15 minutes and Missy had a shorter time than Beyonce and Alicia. That's why I said if there is a fourth woman it has to be a legit opening act.
