which is Jazmine
really new, shes only on her third album
ppl buy tickets to hear songs they KNOW thats why we stans stay complaining that Bran is stuck on performing Almost Doesnt Count. Who the better performer is, is subjective
who has enough hit singles to fill up a time slot and draw a crowd isnt. I could see if we were talking Jazmine vs Monifah, but Monica has been around longer AND she has more hits
its really a no brainer

and yes Mo opened for Trey (which was dumb of her) but at least Trey even had about 4 albums out at the time
and he had just opened for Usher's OMG tour, somethings things dont go as they should
Bran went before Mo when they had that lil show in ATL during IABTM promo

I mean, Mon' was an opener for Trey Songz a couple of years ago. That should tell you something.

This kinda MOOTS anything said. 
Trey songs is not even some HITMAKER ass artist,  just the more RELEVANT one.  It's hard to argue a point when the girl has already been on a tour with a newer artist that has less hits and she OPENED for him

Mon' opened for his 2010 tour. He became more known just a year before and released his 4th album that same year. There's no way around this luv. She opened for an artist who had no plat. album, major hits or a damn Grammy. I mean, if we're going by your logic here...

The powers that be arent gonna put a tour on someone like monica's shoulders as a headliner. Monica's name isn't gonna sell tickets, she is an opener because she isn't strong enough to sell on her own and DEFINITELY not in a headliner spot
Trey went before her because even as an artist with no number 1s, no platnum plaques, and no grammys, HE'S MORE RELEVANT
There would be no difference with jazmine

It matters because clearly Trey was a BIG star at the time
much bigger than Jazmine has been at any point in her career. His Songs were getting Top 40 airplay
he was in much bigger demand than Monica at the time
but to compare that to Jazmine & this situation makes no sense, because Jaz is not that popular or relevant. Her & Monica are in the same R&B only boat right now
