the article says that Brandy has the right to terminate the recording deal. If thats true... it shouldnt take too much time in court right?

She may be able to terminate this deal, but it's possible that it could cause trouble for her if she tries to sign another deal elsewhere, which is probably why she's doing this independent thing. I hope that's not the case.
