EXACTLY!  One advised her to lie changing the trajectory of her whole career and the other ran the shit show that was the afrodisiac era. Jeff at this point seems to be going very hard for her and has been delivering.  In my mind, sonja was the one that devised that whole married thing which actually fckd the afri era as well because that's when the whole lie was exposed.  In stead of trying to get ahead of that pregnancy, having the foresight to shoot more videos n mess to get the most out of that wasted era. She was busy being out of touch and trying to keep up this good girl image like in 2002 people would shun her for being GROWN and pregnant. Sonja can stay right where she is TBRFHWY

So if Bran wants to get a distribution deal with say republic or Universal... Breyon is blocking her, trying to force her to sign with EPIC so that he can get multiple streams of money from the arrangement.
And since Cham/breyon didn't pay for B&P etc.. he has no rights to it because it's under her own imprint..

I don't know why y'all are placing the blame solely on Breyoff. Brandy is the one who signed the contract. She's been in the business how many years? Nothing like this shouldn't be even happening. I honestly would love for La Reid to get a hold of her but hopefully they work this out.

I'm not anti Sonja but this is not the 1990s and Sonja has some less than stellar eras that she oversaw as well. The only thing that she really should be commended on is being a mother lion when it came to deals.

But if you read the issues in the article, the issue is NOT the fact that she signed with Chameleon or an issue with the deal she signed with Chameleon. It's the fact that in 2015/2016, Breyon is trying to make her sign a deal with EPIC, a really bad deal as it seems. That has to be a conflict of interest. A la TLC signing management with Pebbles and being signed to Pebble's husband's record label. That sorta thing.

The thing is Sonja grinds!   She doesnt accept defeat. So where brandy may be meek and mild Sonja is that fire.  So i get why brandy wouldnt want to mix the two but she is amazing at what she does.   She grinded so hard for Ray-j Raydiation project i was astonished.
