Now peeps tuggin her twist because she signed a record deal, not realizing Brandy wasnt presented with alot of options during that time.. No shade, but Breyon picked her up when nobody was checking for her. Her brand was at its lowest point.

That was around the time fans were yanking her lace front because there was no hope for an album in sight. Independent wasnt really the THING back then.

She signed the deal, we got 2/11. She was making lemonade w/ her lemons and she was working around it. Its the new shit Bran has issue with and that would be a better focus.

I agree. If we knew then what we know now Brandy would not have had to settle for such a deal. She still sells more than a lot of other R&B singers but back then (after a human came out) people were counting her out and understandably so. R&B singers can only go but so far now.

I think her music for this go round is fine. I dont think we'll feel any real damages from this until she attempts her full on studio release.

With that said if she gets out of it. Bran should stay Independent and just release songs a video.

I think the idea of albums is dated. Just keep releasing songs n visuals w/ an occasional EP

Given this "despicable conduct," she says in the complaint, she has "every right to terminate, and has now terminated, her recording contract with defendants."

OK so reading over this for a third time, it would appear as if she has already terminated her contract with Chameleon and is suing them for financial losses, as well as POSSIBLY beating them to the punch before they sue her for terminating the contract. That's what I think is happening. I think this is really just to cover her ass as she moves forward because we know she's been recording and releasing music and plan to continue to do so. The rumors about her signing with epic sprouted a year or so or go so this isn't new to her, or her plans.
