If anything comments like that speak to how ignorant some Black people are to think that we all came with shackles on our feet.

Melungeons are not the offspring of white southern plantation owners and helpless black slaves. Most of the African ancestors of Melungeons were never chattel slaves. They were frequently black men freed from indentured servitude just like many white servants of the 17th century.

Some of you are really proving your own ignorance as you try to put mines on display.
