heres a tip.....in the search bar in the cousin matches section... Type in the last names of ur family ... That's how I found people closer to me.

they can if there's a match to someone on the site and you link to their family tree yeah

i think this is a great great great grandparent

and it linked me to a married couple from the late 1700s and it makes sense logistically and everything

yeah i found a few 3rd gen cousins that way because of my mother's maiden name

this is all so overwhelming

like seriously i can only do a bit at a time

i hadnt logged in in a while so to see that was really cool


i wasnt too happy about them being a white couple but with the times and the photos/records they have it makes sense. so i appreciate that it gives me a starting point for one portion of my family

But atleast with this i can now look deeper into finding closer matches/relatives/photos/etc.

its really cool!

i have to get more info from my paternal grandma though because she has some crazy stories
