I love Brandy but I believe everything he said. I'm not a delusional stan.

You believe EVERYTHING he said, even though it's clear that he was exaggerating and straight lying about some of the "downfalls" of her career, like being dropped from multiple labels? It's not true. He was saying it just to be nasty towards her and give her negative publicity on this day when she tries to move her music career forward without him.  But you believe all of it? He didn't even get all of her album names correct.

He didn't type this press release. He gave a statement and it went from there. Everything he said was true. Y'all are blinded. If she was able to get on a label she wouldn't have been with Chameleon in the first place.

!!! and that Epic deal sounds disgust' :plzstop: She needs to turn that down ASAP
proof that niggas don't read. she turned it down like 20 times

QuoteThe deal was worth $600,000 with a $75,000 advance. Brandy stalled, and never signed the contract. There were no other offers. No other label wanted her, and so she did not make a new record.

The Epic offer remains and she is still signed to Chameleon.

b
if you couldn't grasp that "stalled" or even "never signed the contract" meant that she turned it down, then IDK what to tell ya babe

King82

Brandy had a one album deal. Which is why the contract with Epic was offered. Breyon is pressed because he wants Bran under Epic, hence him
Mentioning her stalling and no other major label wanting her. He's a greedy mf.

I'm going to say this as a Brandy fan PERIOD: We don't really know what really went on with her and Breyon, we weren't there. So I don't know who to believe, I always follow the belief that there's three sides to a story: Brandy's version of how things went down, Breyon's version, and the actual truth. I'm keeping a neutral and unbiased opinion on the matter. Because I wasn't there when shit was going down and who knows MAYBE, just MAYBE there's some truth to what Breyon is saying and same goes for what Brandy has stated in the court documents. Just think about it from a neutral standpoint. That's all I'm saying. Because I'm not going to jump on the attack Breyon tangent because I'm a Brandy fan and I don't know the situation and what really happened. And the thing y'all have to look at is that he said that even though he can have the song pulled, he's not taking that route. He's actually showing a bit of tact by doing that because he doesn't want to hurt Brandy or us as her fans. Just think about it. If he really wanted to be spiteful and dirty, he could've more likely had the song pulled from iTunes, Spotify, etc. Think about it. I'm coming from an unbiased and neutral place regarding the situation because I wasn't there.

Why would RCA drop her only for Chameleon to move to Epic. Something is not adding up.

throwintheTAL

who sides with Jay? :uhh: Like somebody previously said, even mentioning pulling the song from iTunes is shady and speaks volumes about his methods of practice. FUCK him and anyone who believes him

throwintheTAL

give Brandy the damn benefit of the doubt! she's sensitive!

that doesnt prove anything tbh, and tbh he's probably the reason it was only on Soundcloud forever
he probably was blocking her until she came up with her Slayana imprint
furthermore if he pulled anything it would hurt his case he's trying to play innocent

King82

I just don't understand. If you're a fan of someone you don't have to be 100% bias, but you're still gonna be protective and on the defense for those you Stan for.

I really just think some people are salty about not getting music soon enough and using Breyons statement to validate those frustrations.

I must have have missed this "tact" when he mentioned no label would mention her....hell, the very fact that he said he could pull the song as and when he pleases is petty in and of itself.

Not saying Bran is is innocent in this, but like someone said, I feel like a lot of people are frustrated at the lack of music and are using this as a crotch to bash her further.
