That makes sense though

I know more than a few white people that are adopted/have adopted siblings

White people don't mind DUMPING their children off a bit

Or straight up aborting them lol

The alternative is much worse for them. .

What's the alternative?

To not be adopted at all, to be in foster care and get shuffled from home to home, to watch other kids get adopted while they slowly feel unwanted and unworthy and just plain LESS THAN. That's the real alternative.

And that's the reality a lot black children in the system live.

There are actually more white children in foster care than Black children.

Also, its less expensive to adopt a black child opposed to a white one.

Just throwing this out there a bit.

Yah, but the sad thing is people want to adopt white kids. So they get snatched up quick & black kids stay in the system for 18 years until they are dumped in the streets at 18.

Yah, but white kids get snatched right up, black kids aren't the first people want to adopt.

I volunteer with Foster children during the summers cause my high school requires it and little white babies get snatched up left and right... minorities, not so much. It's a sad truth.

Kids are impressionable. And even if it were a mom and dad they should not be laid up in bed kissing with their kids laid up with them.

!!!!

LOONA.

QuotePercentage-wise, Blacks are actually more likely to adopt than Whites.

Interesting

They throw the black kids to the gay couples. Like they're leftovers or something.

I think there is actually some truth to this.

I read somewhere that black children are the least likely to get adopted and so it's easier for gay couples to get a black child because they're less in demand.

Are people really that picky about adopting a bby?

I can see age discrimination, but Jesus

Yeah

QuoteAdditionally, Caucasians and Hispanics are consistently preferred to African-Americans. The probability that a non-African-American baby will attract the interest of an adoptive parent is at least seven times as high as the corresponding probability for an African-American baby.

And then there's this

QuoteThe little boy, who was born to a couple battling issues with alcohol, used to live in a shelter in Capelinha, a small city in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. When his mother died, his father abandoned him and he was later given up for adoption where he subsequently faced rejection from three straight couples. Their reason, Scofield, was that the boy was ?ugly? or ?too black.?
