Icons: Faith, Tyrese, Fantasia, Tank, Dru Hill, Joe - people that had a lot of success back in the day and still book an Urban AC hit here and there. Revered for their talents and still tour a lot.

then you have your KeKe Wyatts, Avants, Monifah's etc

Tank elevated himself into the second category only recently tbh. He really put in WORK to make his name one of the regular R&B nigs.

I just looked up faith's album sales compared to avant's He has 1 platinum album and 2 gold albums (pretty good for a guy with 2 hits ) Faith has 2 platinum albums and and 2 gold albums. She's not some super huge star and like I said, they are in the same damn vein. I like Faith but PLEASE, dont try to make this girl out to be something bigger than what she is

maybe not in terms of stats and accolades for sure, but her influence >>>

She's more of an artist and respected vocalist, called upon for arrangements/vocal production and more. Not as some employee or some mess, but just because a lot of the guys and girls worship her and that epic tone and ear

Faith is sick sddddffff I just don't like a lot of her music because it bores me (not a fan of that throwback sound she adores so much)
