what i appreciate about things like Broadway is ..   i think it'll only inspire her to be more artistic/creative. It's already made her a stronger live vocalist like she was when she first came out, and it'll only help the performer in her as well.  We're gonna get an even crazier album from her now IMO

as opposed to what we'd get if she literally did nothing but record and drop records every 2-3 years

Though I love Brandy for her music first, I also understand that music by itself doesnt sustain her Power! It never has, she has always done her best (commercial success) when its combined with some sort of acting project.

Im happy for every opportunity she gains in the acting world because it gives her longevity. I dont think we would have had Brandy the songtress for this long if it weren't for acting. So I remain patient because I know the purpose it serves her brand. It's kinda important ya know!

And I know she killed it because I did see quite a few of the performances and I uploaded one to my YouTube page but I just feel like it took away time I could be enjoying an Alber..
Very proud of her and she's worked so hard to get to this place..

There was a time when I thought Bran could do no wrong. "Human" was a wake up call for me. I appreciate her as an artist more today though. It's ok not to like everything she does. What matters is that she feels good about it. And I'll always have love for her.

then I found a Brandy forum, and it seemed like all the unreleased gems kept coming and tiding me over.

but ... I feel alienated because I'm not going up for the acting and other things as much as you guys.

i feel like...it's not that i'm not stannin' anymore cause i sure will cut  someone's throat when it comes to her but since like Fall 2014 ..i've been like... not runnin' after Bran and Bran news... i'm so happy to see her back on the map like we all wished a couple of years ago but i still have that void that the breaks between albums is makin' me lose my fanship grip...
I still love her to death but i'm like i can't wait all day, all week, all month(s) and all year(s) for a tidbit of news about her music and those news always endin' by "soon" !  i can't anymore lmaoo !!

So i guess that's the way life goes... other priorities kicks in but that doesnt mean we're less of fans...

Music will always be at the top of the list for me when it comes to Brandy. That's what made me a stan.
This most definitely needed to happen for her. I love what Chicago has done for her personally and professionally,

Right. But as someone who appreciates Broadway shows as a whole it was nice to see Brandy in that element. I'm just happy with whatever she chooses to do that makes her happy. I mean I feel the same way when it came to Toni as well. I saw her on Broadway as well. It's just for me my priorities have shifted big time. I'm focused on my life and my own responsibilities.
