Her music was very colorful / diverse.  She had one song that was reggae-ish, one that was country-ish, one that was very 90s r&b inspired, one that was kinda 80s hip hop like mixed with 70s soul, one song where she rapped a little... Her mix tape and first album were dope because she wasn't a conformist to what's expected of an r&b girl is typically supposed to sound like.  And I dug her fro and colorful clothes.  Then sometime when working on her 2nd album her sound started being more similar to what's popular already. And her look did, too.  I think maybe she lost herself...

Yea,  i thought this was cool.  I had started  listening to her around the time her 2nd album was coming.  Everything that she had been coming out with was cool.  I liked the rover song a lil bit too

I agree. Actually outside of refill, i like what I've heard. The vocal i even like because it has alot of character. I like when singers can give u that raspy, off sound but be ON! Every vocal doesn't have to be that pitch perfect, whitney vocal
