I'm ready!!! Wish she'd leave the Chicago stuff out tho.

:overit:
we might like it if they can incorporate it in a cool way

Brandy fans associate Brandy with that Roxie song, but she's doing a medley. It could be cool

It's random for me, but I'm willing to give it a chance. If it doesn't work then maybe they won't do it on her American tour. No biggie

That also means Brandy has no desire to return to a major record, after becoming a victim of politics that saw albums shelved, interfered with or under-promoted.

?I?m all by myself and I like it that way,? she says. ?With major labels, excuse me if this sounds shady, but they?re all shadow artists. They all want to really be the artist, they all tell you exactly what they think you should do. Some people have great intentions, some people don?t.

?Unfortunately I?ve been in contact with people who?ve had the best intentions for themselves, but not for me, so I had to distance myself from people like that and get some balls and move forward and do what I?m lead to do.

?What?s leading me is something that?s bigger than me so I?ve gotta follow that. The great thing about social media is you can connect right to your foundation of fans, let them know music is on the way. Stay up, I might drop something at midnight. You can be your own publicist, your own label. I?m glad I?ve finally got that. It?s been an expensive lesson I had to pay, but I got it.?

Brandy also promises fans can expect her most honest lyrics to date on her next album, touching on her depression and also her comeback.

How exciting that Sy'rai gets to go out on tour with her mom! She's gonna have a blast seeing the world and seeing her mom perform for fans all over the world. What a gift to be able to see your mom and hero in that kind of light.

D.I.E.G.O.

She's going to sing her face off!  :stressed:

I'm not mad about her inclusion of "Chicago" material. If anything, it's great cross promo in the event that she does another Broadway stretch.

I just feel as though the Jennifer skit, Chicago, and Whitney back to back is gonna make the show feel in-cohesive for lack of a better word.
It's a Brandy concert, Brandy shouldn't have a skit of inspired by someone else and TWO medley's of songs that aren't hers in sequence like that.

Marilyn

I'm glad that she's open about her struggle with depression. It's immeasurably inspiring.
