I could see if she started talking about futuristic blah blah blah but I haven't heard her say that kinda stuff in quite a while

Rig, some of these she's been saying since Human.

Like...
yea but its easier for some of us to say

Two eras back to back filled with mess, I know, but it was more than just business, or "oh! Damn! Signed with the wrong label lol Woops". Some personal traumatic shit she went through isn't an every day normal occurrence.

It sucks but the fact that she's even recording music at a high level, is a miracle IMO. Most people on this forum probably couldn't handle what she's been able to handle and function

You don't know what some these artist have been through. Beyonce had a damn miscarriage and we didn't even know. Kesha was allegedly getting Ike Turner'd and she kept on ticking.

The "raising phoenix" thing made sense with Human cause she was coming back of a very traumatic time. Okay, but four years later with Two Eleven it's "i'm just happy to here", now it's "i finally found myself"

n

I'm referring to her "being in this new space" and being a "different" person now. She's been saying stuff like this, and it's no shade because I love Bran. I want her to be the best her, but I'm ready to SEE it and not just hear about it.

I'm ready to cheer her the fuck on.

Comparing traumatic experiences is just wrong, period.

Is Brandy not still here and "kicking"? Are you kidding :dead:  she's about to TOUR. everything isn't perfect and there are plenty of things she could be doing better, but ch ...

She pretty much only discussed Begging n pleading and what that song gave. She said the album will be deeper lyrically, more personal, she wants to tell a story, and she's been writing

I didn't see many descriptive lines here other than that :dead: and certainly not any promises in terms of the sound. What same old song and dance are you referring to?

Boy, your optimism is cute...but no!

We have heard this all before. She has promised that 2/11 would be her most personal album to date...and half the songs she wouldn't sing live because they were too sexual.

QuoteThe great thing about social media is you can connect right to your foundation of fans, let them know music is on the way. Stay up, I might drop something at midnight.

Honestly, when has she actually done that? They barely announce where and when she performs.

The interviews have been sounding the same since before Human dropped...it's going on 8 years. I'm sorry, but Brandy has to do something else. Her visuals don't excite, her music takes forever to release and in-between there are no consistent announcements about what is to come. Her saving grace is her vocal talent...that's what the fans need. That is the only consistent thing about Brandy the musician/artist.

It would be a lot more fake of her to come out and talk as if she's over the depression and everything is all good, as if life isn't a Daily battle

Do you y'all want her to relate to people or continue lying her whole career? Her problems and depression should just end with the human era :dead: I wish life worked like that. n

Gilgamesh.

i want a slice of red velvet cake but that neither here nor there.

its not optimism it's just the facts. She said 2/11 would be a lot more fun than the previous album and it was. I don't remember her saying it would be her most personal

That era was a mess, and she shook hands with the devil yet again :dead: and I'm aware of that. I'm literally not disputing anything Else you've said in that post

:dead: ur just rambling about what we all already know. I've never sat up here a day in my life and called her a great business woman. I wouldn't even lie to her face and say that :dead:

I just fail to see where she described what her music would be like in this article, as you pointed out :kii: if anything, my issue is that she said not much at all :dead:

That's why snapchat is a blessing. U wanna hear the real deal then I suggest y'all follow her on there :dead: she's almost a little too honest (as some have complained about)

Did you not ask what I was referring to?  :uhh: :plzstop: Then when I tell you, you say I'm rambling...boy.

Like I said, you can pretty line up most of her interviews for the past 10 years and get the same information.

As a fan, it is not my role to decipher what business deals she signed or who she shook hands with. As a fan, what I care about is the product and how it is delivered. People have started and finished college in between Brandy eras. People have finished middle school and high school in between Brandy eras. Life changes but somehow her interviews don't.  :plzstop:

FRANCE

I just want some new music. It's kinda fucked up that this label situation with Chameleon seems to be stalling ha a bit. I hope it all can get put to rest soon. Bran ain't getting any younger so these 4 yrs breaks ain't cute no more.

And I realized in the article she didn't mention performing new songs like we had thought. Hmmm

brocka4life

QuoteBrandy also promises fans can expect her most honest lyrics to date on her next album, touching on her depression and also her comeback.

?My last experience is one of the greatest stories I have to tell, it was one of the craziest transitions of my life. Coming into my own as woman, fighting depression, coming out of depression into this Broadway girl who realised I was born for theatre and moved to a whole new space where I feel like I can do anything if I put my mind to it, I?m no longer in a box.

?That?s a story that needs to be told and told in the rawest sense. So many people can relate. Even if they can relate in terms of where I am in the end, hopefully some people in the middle can think ?OK, if she can survive it, I can survive my own stuff?. I just want to be an example. I want to be the face of triumph.?

We'll see.

dsddfffffffddff

So if all u care about is the product, then why do interviews matter? A lot of girls are repetitive in these transcripted interviews

We ALL just want consistent music released and some good visuals.  n

That's really all it comes down to. Repetitive interview or not

no

Cuz u were talking about your inability to believe what she says when she discusses her music. That's what I hopped in ur quotes about

She delivered exactly what she said she would and MORE with "Beggin and pleadin"

That's all it took for me to believe. If y'all don't hear and see the difference with that ...
