Honestly, I'm even at the point that whatever finds her PEACE... even if that meant not getting another album ... I would rather that. As crazy as that is. I just want HER to be at peace. Depression is not fun or something I wish on anyone I care about or admire.

All repetitive interviews aside,
Brandy will come out on top because she isn't a quitter.
She continues to push herself, even in the midst of a storm.
She will serve the purpose that she feels she has in the world and the industry.
Her Star power cannot be denied.
The fact that she can still release albums is a testament to that

Are nowhere to be found.

And the thing is Brandy is not open either. She is very phony, PC, and guarded in most of the interviews.

But still lets you know she's going through dark times, suffering. Sis, either suck it up and let us not feel your struggle it share what ya going through and live more candidly...

She never just SPILLS in an interview if relaxes and unwinds and just tells something like it is. Always this interview persona...

We all know why Brandy was depressed: the breakup with Ryan. And we really can't expect her to SPILL the details. After what happened with Robert Smith where she spilled too much tea, musically and during interviews, she's learned to be more tactful when discussing those issues.

Honestly, I'm not too optimistic about the tour cause I kinda feel like it'll be reminiscent of her 2/11 shows but like Rig said, let's just wait and see first when she performs before we have an opinion. I know we're all a bit anxious and frustrated due to some of the setbacks with music but what to do. We're just gonna have to 'wait and see'.

She pretty much only discussed Begging n pleading and what that song gave. She said the album will be deeper lyrically, more personal, she wants to tell a story, and she's been writing


I didn't see many descriptive lines here other than that and certainly not any promises in terms of the sound. What same old song and dance are you referring to?

We have heard this all before. She has promised that 2/11 would be her most personal album to date...and half the songs she wouldn't sing live because they were too sexual.

The great thing about social media is you can connect right to your foundation of fans, let them know music is on the way. Stay up, I might drop something at midnight.

Honestly, when has she actually done that? They barely announce where and when she performs.


The interviews have been sounding the same since before Human dropped...it's going on 8 years. I'm sorry, but Brandy has to do something else. Her visuals don't excite, her music takes forever to release and in-between there are no consistent announcements about what is to come. Her saving grace is her vocal talent...that's what the fans need. That is the only consistent thing about Brandy the musician/artist.
