Oh yeah, Chicago is actually one of my favorite cities in the country. It's gorg. I just dont think I could take that cold in the winter 

Yea, i actually thought about moving away for that reason. Every once and a while we get a hellacious ass winter. This was a major express way a few yrs back

TONS of cars stranded on the damn expressway. That's why when ATL had that lite snow and everybody started running over each other, i just chuckled

What part of the south are you guys from? Been living here all my life and never encountered racist mess. There are def. rednecks with confederate flags but they don't bother anyone. And the whole "light/dark skin" mess is a widespread black people mentality. Not just the south.

Yeah, it's kind of repulsive. It's better near college towns but out in those rural towns it's way behind the times. South Carolina has area that give me the chills. Everyone's always like, "oohh, Charleston, beautiful!" and I'm like, it was a fucking slave plantation  They should level that place tbqfh. The history is disgusting.

We have a bunch of mansions in my town and everyone was like oh beautiful lovely!

I found out two years ago those damn mansions were actually slave plantations. White people live in them and some of them still have the slave quarters where you can go and take a tour.

I was kinda pissed to know that those white fags are living in those mansions

The south gives HOME and LOVE to me. I think the media has manipulated otherwise though...I've heard terrible stories but never encountered the racism I have up north.

Up north it's like, the while people don't even really interact with you unless they know you cause they are too scared.

Everyone complains about rent prices here, and rightfully so in many cases, but you're paying for access. You're in the epicenter of the fucking world. Any and everything is in NYC. That allows more of a possibility to also make a lot of fucking money. The sky is the limit.
