Unprotected sex is risky business period. Monogamous relationship or not. You're putting yourself at risk

I agree with this. I could never have unprotected sex ever.

And would you feel comfortable telling your status to a person you have just been dating for a few days or weeks? After all they could run around telling everyone.
"Hey, I'm AIDED!"

oh, I see what you're saying. If you had it, you wouldn't wanna reveal your status so prematurely, not knowing where the relationship could go and/or not knowing if you'll ever even lay down with this person. I could see that being a thing, but at the same time, it would be kinda messed up if you waited right up until y'all were about to do it to say, "Hey, I'm AIDED!"

It is so tricky for the HIV+ gorls. Honestly if I were poz, I'd just stick to other poz guys. It would make things much easier.

And then you'd create a stronger strain or get infected by another one

If you take your meds and keep your viral load down your not THAT infectious as you'd believe
I've seen couples where one is negative the other is positive and have unprotected sex and there's no transmission
Same with two positive people who are healthy and on meds, the risk of cross infection is low.
But obviously that's a risk upon yourself

I still remember the first time I read out someone's positive result
He was like 19/20 and said he only had oral sex and never had anal sex
So I was certain the result was going to be negative
When that 2nd dot came up we both fell out of our chairs  :uhh: :dead:
I felt so bad for him because I really thought he was safe
um, ew

Bre, you are smarter than this..

Yeah I am, which is why I made the statement. In spite of some people not being able to see beyond the gays they fuck or see at clubs there's still quite a few of us out here, of all ages.

Young ppl are literally being thrown out of their homes on the streets for being gay, they have no job, or education...how do you think they're going to survive? Why do you think Ball culture is so helpful/popular for some ppl?

Yall be on apps but cruise right through ppl who are labeled masseurs? Like being a poc and gay is double the oppression: familial wise(in a lot of cases) & resources.

Bre, i'm really not trying to b a bitch but doesn't this prove what Drais was saying, there is a stereotype that Gay men are overly sexual and carry AIDS/HIV. No one was disputing whether the stereotype had any legitimacy but a reality show where one of the guys is indeed a carrier is not gonna help matters.

That's interesting. He must have had some serious stuff going on in his mouth to contract HIV just from oral sex.

I dont think there has been a case here.

Wait @ you using insti tests :ohwow:

The person who he was with was recently diagnosed himself so his viral load had peaked at that point in time so he was super-infectious
You have to be very unlucky tbh
I haven't heard of anyone else catching it from oral sex since
