Honestly, I'm not even thinking about the album. I know she has a lot to work out regarding that.

When I say I want music, I just mean her giving us some songs to hold us over in the meantime.
Some material she's not gonna use. Just leak some mess for us or drop a mixtape.

Hell, I'd even be happy with a mixtape full of covers like she did with "Magic".

I know I went off on her in here, but I'm ready to hear my favorite voice in the industry over something fresh.

I've slowed down on posting here, because I'm slightly irked with Brandy. I don't believe in festering in negativity especially when it comes to my queen. But I feel like venting a bit.

I love Bran, she's my fave and not much will ever change that. I have no expectations when it comes to music because she is a veteran and she is accustom to a certain standard that simply doesn't exist. Which is fine

However, the management of HERSELF as a brand is very frustrating at this point. She gone from overtly humble to at times obnoxiously cocky. Her image has never been consistent (the Mother Earth look is okay but not it). She always in search of herself and it's always revealed as a sort of COMEBACK. The secrecy is draining. She responds to negativity but can't seem to talk to her base in a real way. She is a legend...but handles herself in a amateur type of way.

Brandy has insecurities, I get it! But I'de much rather see all that manifested in her vibes rather than Brandoms and photos of flowers. She posted a caption the other day about "looking too sexy to walk a red carpet" but she was only showing arms and ankles. Can't utter a word when asked about music but can throw subliminals all day.

She is a legend in civilian clothing. If she never released another studio album but truely understood the power of her influence, social media presence, and over all image I'de be fine. She's anti social and that really should change. How do you gain connections and followers sitting in the damn house! She don't promote the things she's about to do, she lets everybody else talk for her. It's a bit much, but she's everything

refusing to, because he'll be taking home most of the profits. its very simple really, and she aint fuckin doin it

I agree with you I don't think it's fair to lash her... She signed a good deal with the original terms but once he switched distribution he offered a re-negotiation that was a 360. Meaning Brandy would cut Breyon in on a percentage of her non-music related projects... Which is where she makes most of her money these days.. The TV, Movies, Broadway & endorsements.   Breyon is basically holding his thumb on her music until she signs the new deal.   She really is at his mercy.

So now she's suing because her contracted stated that he (Chameleon ent) would fund Brandy's projects with or without distribution.  Breyon I'm sure doesn't want to fund out of his pocket so he's forcing her into a bad deal all while double dipping because he works for the label he's distributed thru now.  He's basically tryna rape Brandy!!!!  Not only that he has her ex-fianc? who broke her heart in on the lawsuit against her.    COME ON!!!! I understand her situation. I'm not even anticipating anything just to keep my sanity, cause I get it.

But I think it's hard for some people to rationalize, because it's always SOMETHING going on that causes a delay. So this situation, although LEGIT, is just ANOTHER THING. You know? Lol. If this was the first 4 year break, I could see people looking at it differently.
