Why do y'all think that is ?

Most people base 'singing' on volume and high notes, belting etc.

So why aren't Aaliyah and Rihanna the ones getting the boot?

If ladies are here for anthems/themes they connect to as well as high notes, B may not be their top pick
I've heard girls say Aaliyah, Monica even Keyshia Cole are better singers than B.

As soon as PUT IT DOWN was released, that's when my urban-music-lover female friends started telling ME about Brandy. And they live for the I WANNA BE DOWNs and BROKENHEARTEDs.
