Bran'd first four albums are all monumental blue print works for the generations of musicians to come. Flush ain't got records like that, except Krustfessions
Quote from: AYR on October 12, 2016, 08:25:03 AMand Full Moon was not a risk musically she got older, got pregnant and started singing adult themes her and Rodney had had already created a sound on NSN and they just continued to move forward on FM, it's the best album ever but it's not risky. Its R&B

Quote from: AYR on October 12, 2016, 07:26:42 AMAll of that: being a sex symbol, having classics, being hugely successful, and a huge influence on the young male artists after him, and saying he's not an Icon is hating. The ONLY thing is that he never went completely left field musically but if it's not broke don't fix it. I think the word y'all are trying to say is INNOVATIVE, not Icon

People also reference Dangerous, Bad & Off The Wall, some albums are more referenced than othersPoint is, they all have bodies of work that may not be as successful as Confessions but are more influential and innovative

Thriller is the only real Mj album that gets talked about.
