Wasn't nobody buying Prince music before his death but "oh worth more" gtfoh lmfao Jay is a smart business man. I'm sure that 40 million is more than generous.

Prince has over 10,000 songs in his vault. The music is worth more now that he passed away.
Jay-Z ain't shit.
!!!!!
:uhh:
Fuck this camel

Why are you against it? This way you might actually get to hear some of the music
They are releasing 2 projects next year with unreleased material
and 30 years of unreleased songs from his vault is worth a lot more than 40 million, especially now that he's dead
The Purple rain album and movie alone is probably worth more than that
and his sister is only the family left and she already has power over his estate so there's not much more to gain

Which means he wasn't interested in releasing any of it?

Who knows why he didn't release them...but
QuoteIt?s known that Prince consulted David Pullman, who designed the so-called Bowie bond, not long after Bowie?s deal was publicised. Pullman has told reporters he thinks Prince?s unsold songs might be worth up to $100m.
